For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential care and open care for children, youth and families, on-call and foster homes, addiction treatment, supported housing, initiatives against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS residential care. We offer counseling and training as well as help with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
Gryning's HVB Sunnerö opened in Alingsås in November 2022. The operation serves children ages 8 to 11 who are placed individually and have a need for care, treatment, and supplementary assessments. We operate 24/7.

JOB DUTIES
What does the position entail?
Depending on your educational background and previous experience, different roles may be relevant for you. What they all have in common is that in your work you serve as support for our children in their daily routines, you create security and stability, and you work closely with your colleagues. Our work is carried out on assignment from social services and in close collaboration with the network surrounding our clients. Since we operate 24/7, you will work on a schedule with irregular hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with at least a two-year post-secondary education, or equivalent, with a focus on social work, social pedagogy, or behavioral science. If you also have experience working with this target group, we see that as a merit.
You are a reliable and stable role model with the ability to create trustful and sustainable relationships. In your work, you contribute to a clear structure that helps meet and address the children's needs and challenges, while creating a sense of security and predictability in their daily lives.
The work can sometimes be intensive, which requires you to be flexible and have the ability to stay calm and act safely and professionally even in pressured situations. Since the work involves travel, a driver's license is required.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months.
