For 25 years, Gryning has offered residential and open care for children, youth, and families, emergency and family homes, addiction treatment, supported apartments, services against honor-related violence and oppression, and LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and help with placements. Gryning is owned by municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations. Do you want to build a facility from the ground up and create opportunities for young people's futures? The unit is an assessment and treatment home for young people between 15 and 19 years old. The service targets young people with norm-breaking behaviors such as criminality, drug use, self-harm, or acting-out behavior. The work is based on a milieu therapy foundation where structure, relationships, participation, and clarity are central elements. We work with low-affect approaches, motivational interviewing (MI), and use ESTER for mapping and monitoring risk and protective factors. The unit will offer both assessment and treatment in a safe and developmental environment where the young people's individual goals are in focus. We work on behalf of social services, and our aim is to contribute to changed, improved, and lasting life conditions for the young person and enable development in a safe and stable environment. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES As unit manager, you will have a key role in both the startup and long-term development of the facility. This is a startup assignment for someone motivated by building, developing, and creating something new. You will have the opportunity to recruit your team, shape the facility's culture within Gryning's structure and framework, and thereby lay the foundation for a high-quality residential treatment home with strong treatment focus and a clear child and youth perspective. You are responsible for: · leading the restart and establishing the facility prior to opening · recruiting, introducing, and developing staff · creating a facility culture characterized by quality, participation, and professionalism · ensuring that the facility is operated in accordance with legislation, regulations, license conditions, and Gryning's quality requirements · taking responsibility for finances, personnel, work environment, and operational results · developing good collaboration with social services, schools, guardians, and other partners · driving systematic quality and improvement work based on Gryning's established quality management system You will be part of Gryning's management team and will receive support from experienced management colleagues, specialist functions, and an organization with extensive experience in operating residential treatment facilities. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a confident and present leader with the ability to inspire others. You are organized, have good analytical skills, and thrive in facilities where development and change are a natural part of daily work. As unit manager, you are responsible for the unit's operations and must therefore meet the requirements from IVO regarding relevant university education and experience with similar facilities. Therefore, you must have: · a degree in social work or other relevant higher education · experience working with children and young people in social work · experience in leadership or management positions · good knowledge of social services' mission and relevant legislation · good ability to express yourself in speech and writing It is meritorious if you have experience with: · residential treatment facilities · treatment work with young people · startup or development of facilities · milieu therapy work, MI, and low-affect approaches · BBIC and ESTER.
