As a Group Leader, you contribute to a safe and secure environment for placed children/young people as well as for staff. In this role, you work actively in the day-to-day care and treatment operations on the unit. You are responsible for planning, operatively leading, and distributing the daily work. You serve as a role model and promote that work is conducted with legal security and in accordance with applicable governing documents, methods, and established goals. You keep the unit manager on your unit continuously updated on matters that could affect the work environment, care and treatment environment, or shortcomings in operations. Introducing and mentoring new staff is also part of your work. You are part of a team with the unit manager and treatment secretary, and you will have close collaboration to jointly create good results.
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed in the role of Group Leader, you are motivated by working with and helping people in vulnerable life situations. The day-to-day work and interaction with young people/clients is your main focus. You are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work in an efficient manner and are clear in your communication with others. At the same time, you are attentive and affirming in your approach to young people/clients and staff, and you are good at building relationships. You have a professional approach and a strong ability to collaborate and understand others' perspectives. The work is sometimes challenging and requires you to be stable and remain calm even in stressful situations.
University education of at least 180 credits with a focus on social sciences, health, or behavioral sciences.
Multiple years of documented work experience from work within SiS or other operations with a focus on care, treatment, and security, such as social services, health and treatment, correctional services, or other relevant operations.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both in writing and orally.

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time employment and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement.
