Welcome to us
Sabbatsbergsbyn is a specialized housing facility with 106 apartments distributed across 11 departments in three buildings. Nine departments provide housing for those with a diagnosed dementia disease and two departments are for those who, for physical reasons, need care and support around the clock. Sabbatsbergsbyn is a housing facility in Stockholm's inner city between S:t Eriksplan and Odenplan. It is a centrally located elderly care home in Vasastan with green areas surrounding it. In Sinnenas Trädgård we meet for, among other things, grilling, exercise, entertainment and coffee breaks. We are now looking for a group leader for one of our three dementia-focused buildings.

Your role
As a group leader, you will report to the unit manager and work closely with both the unit manager and other staff members. You will work with the development of the unit, quality work, be responsible for welcoming new employees and students, handle administrative tasks such as invoices, orders in Agresso, administrative tasks related to recruitment, and plan for staffing during longer absences of care personnel.
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who have:
Vocational university education focused on administration, preferably in healthcare and elderly care or equivalent education.
Several years of experience working in healthcare and elderly care.
Good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written.
Meritorious is:
Experience working in municipal elderly care, both as care personnel and administratively.
Project management training or documented experience leading projects or working in projects and development work.
As a person, you have a solution-focused approach. You are self-directed, goal and results-oriented and driven by preventing problems and developing the service to always stay one step ahead. You have a holistic view and consider what is best for the entire operation in your actions and decisions. You are courageous, communicate well and ensure that expectations are clear. You are interested in overarching issues and good at collaborating with others, thereby creating added value. For this assignment, we will place great emphasis on your personal abilities and skills.
