Job Description As a group leader, you report to the unit manager and work closely with both the unit manager and other colleagues. The role includes overall responsibility for developing and driving quality work within the organization. You work based on the organization's quality management system and ensure that the organization meets the requirements set according to applicable legislation, the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations, and the Inspectorate for Care's (IVO) guidelines. Responsibilities As a group leader, you actively work to update, revise, and develop new procedures together with the unit manager and colleagues based on the organization's needs. You are a role model in daily work and lead and mentor staff groups in social and educational care situations. You are responsible for conducting reviews of the organization's quality through sampling and internal audits in practical work within the organization. The assignment also includes reviewing documentation and ensuring that all staff work in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal procedures. An important part of the role is to support both colleagues and the unit manager in deviation management. You ensure that procedures are followed and that all employees know how to act when a deviation occurs. You also work preventatively and create conditions for residents to have a safe and secure everyday life. Work is always based on two central perspectives: safety and security for residents, as well as a good working environment with a quality focus for staff. You are also responsible for ensuring that all employees have updated training and valid delegations within the scope of their work tasks. The role includes regular reporting to the unit manager. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: Post-secondary education in healthcare, social work, leadership, or other education or experience that the employer considers equivalent. Several years of experience working within LSS, preferably in group homes or service housing, with at least a couple of years in a leading or coordinating role. Good knowledge of relevant legislation, such as SoL, HSL, LSS, and occupational health and safety legislation. Experience in personnel management, scheduling, planning of user services, and occupational health and safety matters. Good administrative skills and strong IT skills. You have the ability to balance the individual's needs, legislative requirements, and the organization's conditions. Terms of Employment The position is a permanent, full-time employment.
