Welcome to us The Procurement Unit with care for persons with disabilities and social psychiatry is part of the administration's department for support and services. The unit consists of 17 assistance officers, where 12 officers work with the LSS activity area and 5 officers work with the social psychiatry activity area. The unit also includes a Social Guide who works in outreach. Day-to-day operations are led by group leaders. The Unit Manager is ultimately responsible for personnel, quality and budget. The unit is part of the authority area together with the elderly care unit and the units are jointly led by an Area Manager. Your role The role of group leader within the procurement unit LSS and Social Psychiatry at Skärholmen District Administration means that you mainly work independently to lead the daily operations of the unit by: Personnel planning during leave and short-term absence. Pedagogically lead case discussions and make decisions according to delegation regulations. Provide support to and develop assistance officers' competence in the case handling process. Participate in the development of the unit's routines and working methods. Implement routines and verify that routines and working methods are followed. The position also involves considering operational issues from a holistic perspective. You contribute to the unit's development and take responsibility for social services at the forefront of good quality. Your competence and experience We are looking for you who have: Academic education relevant to the field, Experience as an assistance officer in disability or social psychiatry, preferably both, Good understanding of relevant legislation and regulations. We consider it a merit if you have: Experience in operations or quality development, Experience leading without formal managerial authority, for example as a group leader, coordinator or in another supervisory role, Knowledge and understanding of the LSS distribution system, Breadth in your experience, for example from both private and public sectors or experience from other roles or assignments beyond traditional case handling work. Personal abilities For the role of group leader, we are looking for an independent and confident person who takes responsibility for your assignment and has the ability to independently drive the work forward. You are thorough and structured with good prioritization skills. We are looking for you who are flexible and compliant with the ability to adapt your way of communicating based on situation and counterpart without losing clarity or direction. The role involves many contact points and requires the ability to create good relationships, handle different perspectives and at the same time stand firmly in the organization's mission and goals. It is important to be able to convert goals into action, create momentum and follow up that what has been decided is also implemented. Finally, we are looking for you who is confident in your leadership role and who is comfortable leading even without formal managerial authority.
