Duties In your role as group leader, you will be a work leader at the Authority Unit for Adults and Support Services. You will work in a team with the unit manager and group leaders within the unit. We are now seeking a group leader who has expertise particularly in the areas of LSS and social psychiatry. As a group leader, your overall duties are to lead and distribute work for the social workers and to supervise cases and develop the work. Your work includes, among other things: * Being available and a resource for team members. * Case supervise, work lead, and coach employees in daily work. * Distribute cases within the team and have an overview of current workload. * Stay updated on current legislation, handbooks, procedures, etc. * Present cases to the social committee, the Administrative Court, and the Court of Appeal. * Provide extra support in difficult and complex cases. * Conduct development work together with the unit manager. * Together with the unit manager, be responsible for ensuring that internal and external collaboration functions. * Assist in recruiting new employees. * Together with the unit manager, monitor the external environment regarding legislation, methodological issues, precedent-setting court cases, etc. * Responsible for introducing new employees and together with the unit manager plan competency development for staff. * Assist the unit manager with occupational health and safety matters. * Make authority decisions according to applicable delegation instructions. The position requires experience in handling cases according to the Social Services Act, and it is meritorious if you have experience working with LSS and social psychiatry as well as IBIC previously.
