The Prevention and Promotion Area works with early interventions for children, young people and families in activities characterized by development, commitment and strong local grounding, and is part of the Individual and Family Division including leisure activities. Within the division, which also consists of the Adult Area and the Children and Youth Area, we have close and extensive collaboration with citizens in focus.
The Prevention and Promotion Area includes parent reception, youth reception, school social teams, field assistants, youth centers, park play areas and crime prevention work through, for example, SIG, SSPF, Trefas and social workers at the police.
Now we're looking for you who, together with us, want to be part of developing work within first-line social services in the role of group leader with responsibility for youth reception and field operations. You work closely with the unit manager and group leaders for the crime prevention activities.

Skärholmen Administration Office is centrally located in Skärholmen Center in modern and newly renovated facilities. Our employees work in the district and largely have their workplaces spread throughout the city area. Field assistants operate from the administration office and Youth Reception has its own premises in Skärholmen Center.

Your role:
As a group leader, you work on behalf of the unit manager and are part of the unit's management group. You provide leadership and support to employees and collaborate with internal and external actors, such as schools, police, region and civil society. The role places high demands on good collaboration skills, communication competence and the ability to create and maintain trusting relationships.
You are responsible for:
Providing leadership and support to employees
Prioritizing and distributing work tasks
Guiding work toward set goals
Developing and implementing procedures
Introducing new employees
Handling administration and staffing
Collaborating internally and externally
Assisting the unit manager with planning and follow-up
Your competence and experience:
We want you to have:
Social work degree.
Experience working in social services.
Experience with development and change initiatives.
Knowledge of MI.
Driver's license (category B).
It is meritorious if you also have:
Experience with authority within children and youth services.
Previous management experience.
Experience from field operations, youth reception or other preventive work.
Experience working in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas.
You are confident, structured and have good collaboration skills. You work with a holistic perspective and contribute to the development of operations. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and your commitment to the assignment. We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and experiences.
Other information:
Working hours are mainly Monday–Friday, but evening and holiday work may occur.
Exam certificates must be shown for interview and a valid ID and extract from the criminal record register are required prior to employment.
