As part of a reorganization, we are consolidating all sub-project managers within design into a single unit with three groups – and are therefore seeking three new group managers. You will have the opportunity to shape both the content and working methods of your group from the start. The three divisions are: Division A: Sub-project managers in electrical, electronics, and electromechanical engineering Division B: Sub-project managers in software and configuration managers Division C: Sub-project managers in mechanical engineering As a group manager with us, you will be part of the unit's management team and combine strategic leadership with operational support in complex development projects. Future collaboration between the group managers within the unit will be key to success. About the divisions The new unit brings together sub-project management and configuration managers within design in a shared organization. The three divisions are structured around different technology and development areas, where each group manager is responsible for: developing and monitoring working methods, quality, and deliverables within their technology area ensuring the right competencies, resources, and staffing in ongoing and future projects driving improvements related to their specific development area The divisions will consist of a mix of employees and consultants, and as group manager you are responsible for the whole. Close, day-to-day collaboration between group managers is essential to create common working methods and consistent deliverables across the entire unit. Your role as group manager As a group manager, you have personnel responsibility and are responsible for building, leading, and developing your division. The role includes: leading, coaching, and developing employees in their roles as sub-project managers (and configuration managers in Division B) being responsible for recruitment to your division and managing the mix of employees and consultants monitoring goals, deliverables, and development within your technology and responsibility area driving and further developing working methods, processes, and tools for sub-project management collaborating closely with other project managers, system managers, and other functions actively contributing to the unit's management team and working closely with other group managers Who are you?
