We are now looking for a Group Leader for Maintenance Engineering. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a group with broad technical expertise and an important assignment for the operation. The group functions as a specialist resource within the maintenance area and contributes expertise, analysis and support on issues that are critical for the facility's long-term development. Here you get a central role in creating engagement, clarity and conditions for both employees and the operation to succeed. About the Role As Group Leader, you have personnel, work environment and operational responsibility for the group. You are responsible for creating good conditions for employees to develop and perform while driving the group's work forward in line with the operation's goals. The group consists of employees with varying specialist areas and a high degree of independence. Therefore, leadership is less about being an expert on all technical matters and more about creating direction, prioritizing, removing obstacles and ensuring effective collaboration both within the group and with other parts of the operation. An important part of the assignment is also to strengthen the group's position in the organization. You actively work to make the group's expertise and value visible, develop collaboration with the operation and create understanding for how the group can contribute to the operation's results. As Group Leader, you are also part of the unit's management group and contribute to the operation's strategic development. Job Requirements Are you the person we are looking for? We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in leading and developing people, teams and operations. You have the ability to create engagement, build trusting relationships and drive change in a sustainable and structured way.
