We are now recruiting a Group Manager for Sångvägen Group Home - LSS, Jakobsberg. We offer leadership programs and several benefits. About Sångvägen Group Home 1 Flight The group home is located in Jakobsberg near commuter train and bus. The staff team consists of seven employees, most of whom have worked here for a long time. We work on rotating schedules and have night shifts. Close to Järvafältet and Jakobsberg center; another group home operated by Nytida is in the same building. The residents here receive support through LSS; currently three men and one woman live here. They have varying levels of disability and different support aids. We work extensively with alternative communication. Feel free to find inspiration from the unit pages at www.nytida.se About the Role As a Group Manager, you work both in operations and administratively. This means you are a role model for your employees and through your strong commitment, you create a good work environment in the group every day. You provide conditions for your team to maintain good relationships with the activity's customers and relatives. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and acknowledging your employees in daily work. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your team and participate in developing and quality-assuring operations in accordance with Nytida's pedagogical framework. As a Group Manager, you report to the Operations Manager. Active Leadership To succeed as a manager and leader with us requires active leadership based on our values. Your Experience and Knowledge You have post-secondary or higher education in care and support, and experience with the target group. You speak and write fluent Swedish. It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of various forms of cognitive support, low-arousal approaches, and experience in work supervision. You have a clear leadership personality and enjoy helping people in your group grow and develop in their professional role. As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and cooperative. You have the will and ability to manage and follow up operations based on the company's goals and financial framework.
