About the Workplace LU Service provides services and products to the university's operations, including facility services, reception, conferences, mail, and graphic production. Media-Print is the university's internal provider of graphic services and handles the entire process – from concept and original design through printing, finishing, distribution, and delivery. The operation combines service, production, and consulting and works closely with various university departments. We have broad expertise in graphic production and a strong focus on quality, delivery, and development. As a group manager, you work closely with both customers and employees, focusing on leadership, operations development, production, service, and work environment. You are part of a management group of seven group managers with whom you collaborate daily. The Role of Group Manager Your Assignment As a group manager at Media-Print, you have overall responsibility for operations, personnel, and finances – a so-called three-pillar management role. You are responsible for ensuring that operations function efficiently and sustainably while creating conditions for employees to develop and thrive. You lead daily operations in a business where understanding production flows is an important part of your role. Media-Print works with graphic services across the entire spectrum, and the role therefore requires the ability to see the big picture, understand workflows, and create structure in an operation with many contact points and varying assignments. In the role, you: lead and develop both teams and individuals through engagement, participation, and skills development, are responsible for operations, budget, and work environment, plan, monitor, and develop production and work processes, drive improvement and change initiatives to develop the business and create efficient work methods, work closely with internal customers and develop professional and service-oriented relationships, contribute to a positive work climate and a culture where collaboration, quality, and development are in focus. You receive support from operational services in HR, finance, communication, and business development – you are never alone in your management role. Qualifications Requirements for the position include: higher education or other experience that the employer deems relevant for the position, experience in a management or leadership role with responsibility for personnel, operations, and finance, understanding of or experience with production workflows, strong ability to create structure, prioritize, and make decisions, strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, experience working with digital tools and systems, B-class driver's license. Meritorious for the position: experience from graphic production, printing, media, or other production-related operations, experience with change and development work, experience in service or customer-facing operations, completed leadership training.
