Your Role We are now seeking a confident and proactive group manager for our near-mine exploration department in Kiruna. You will lead a team of geologists, technicians, and engineers who work with geological surveys and develop knowledge about our ore bodies. The role involves close collaboration both within your own operations and with other areas and sections within LKAB. As a group manager, you are responsible for creating the conditions for your team's success by leading, developing, and supporting employees in their daily work. You will work to ensure goal achievement in modeling, mapping, and budgeting, while also being responsible for both short-term and long-term planning, with safety as the focus and highest priority. The assignment also includes creating structure, prioritizing resources, and monitoring operations to achieve set goals. Together with colleagues in near-mine exploration, you contribute to an innovative and permissive culture where we create value through collaboration, curiosity, and a constant focus on development and improvement. What You Bring We are looking for someone who is comfortable with coaching-style leadership and close collaboration. You dare to think differently, take initiative, and contribute ideas that develop the business. You communicate clearly and build good collaborations both within the team and with other parts of the organization. Beyond that, we expect you to have: An academic degree in geology, a civil engineering degree, or other relevant higher education. A genuine interest in leading and developing others, and preferably previous experience in management roles or other leadership positions. The ability to communicate fluently in English in both speech and writing, as we are an international workplace. A driver's license with category B authorization and a passing high school diploma.
