About the Role
As a group manager, your primary responsibility is to coach and work in daily care activities together with the team. This means you are a role model for your staff and through your strong commitment, you create a good working environment in the group every day. You work daytime, weekends, and evenings.
Close Leadership: The role exists in our organization to ensure close leadership and provide support. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group and are involved in developing and quality-assuring operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and affirming your staff in everyday situations. You have several group manager colleagues and you collaborate, exchange ideas, and share experiences.
Participation: As a group manager, you report to the operations manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group.
About Villa Roos Park
Villa Roos Park is a modern, dementia-friendly senior living residence in Staffanstorp. It has 63 apartments, a large garden, garden plots, and an enclosed winter garden. The operations are specialized and adapted for residents with dementia, which characterizes the design and furnishings.
Activities Coordinator: We work structurally with activities and have an activities coordinator who develops and carries out meaningful activities with our residents.
Dementia Certification: We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that everyone working here is trained in dementia and person-centered care through the Dementia Academy. You will also undergo this training.
Needs-Based Scheduling: We use needs-based scheduling. This means you and your staff have the opportunity to influence working hours based on needs and preferences. We create schedules 5 weeks at a time.
Yung Omsorg: We collaborate with the company Ung Omsorg. This means a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg conducts various activities together with us to enrich the lives of our residents.
Animals in Care: We work with animals in care and have regular visits from therapy animals.
Your Experience and Knowledge
You are a trained nursing assistant with good computer skills and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience in elderly care and leadership is a merit for this role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
