About the Role
As a group manager, your primary task is to coach and work in daily care activities together with the team. This means you are a role model for your employees and through your strong commitment, you create a good work environment in the group every day. You'll work daytime, weekends, and evenings.
Close Leadership: The role exists in our organization to ensure close leadership and provide support. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group and are involved in developing and quality assuring the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, providing feedback, and affirming your employees in everyday work. You have a group manager colleague and together you collaborate, discuss ideas, and exchange experiences.
Participation: As a group manager, you report to the operations manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group.
About Norrgården
Norrgården is a senior living facility with a homey environment located in Sollentuna municipality outside Stockholm. The facility is beautifully situated by Sollentuna Church in Norrviken.
Norrgården has 46 apartments divided into three group homes for people with dementia and two group homes focused on nursing care.
Activities Coordinator: We work systematically with activities and have an activities coordinator who develops and conducts meaningful activities with our residents.
Dementia Certification: We are a dementia-certified facility, which means everyone working here is trained in dementia care and communication through Dementia Academy. You will also go through this training.
Animals in Care: We work with animals in care here and we have regular visits from therapy animals.
Your Experience and Knowledge
You are a trained nursing assistant, have good computer skills, and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience from elderly care and leadership is advantageous for this role. We place great importance on personal suitability.
