About Samhall
Samhall exists to create a more inclusive job market where everyone is seen as an asset. Our mission is to create meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. Each year approximately 2,000 people are referred to us from the Swedish Public Employment Service, and what we do is offer them a stable platform to stand on and the opportunity to practice their abilities and develop their skills. Our most important goal is that 1,500 people each year leave us for employment outside of Samhall.
Regardless of where you work in our organization, our mission and goals are always present. The conviction that all people have competence is a compass and a driving force for us all. We believe that you reading this feel just as strongly about it as we do.
We are 24,000 employees, of which approximately 1,500 are managers and specialists, with operations throughout the country. Together we work for a more inclusive job market that benefits individuals, organizations, and society at large.
Welcome to Samhall!
About the Position
The role of Group Manager Rehabilitation is a first-line management position where you have personnel responsibility for employees working with complex rehabilitation and pre-rehabilitation cases. Your mission is to create conditions for our employees to develop their work capacity and receive the right support to work sustainably over time.
An important part of the role is working preventively through pre-rehabilitation, where the focus is on early identification of needs, strengthening work capacity, and reducing the risk of sick leave. You work close to operations and actively contribute to developing Samhall's work within sick leave and rehabilitation processes.
The path for our employees can sometimes be long and complex, but the goal is for them to develop professional skills and work capacity that equips them for employment outside of Samhall.
In the role, you create and maintain networks and good relationships both internally and externally. You collaborate daily with area managers, HR, and other support functions, and have ongoing contact with external actors such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Swedish Public Employment Service. You also become part of an experienced network of colleagues and specialists where you collaborate on workplace adjustments, assistive devices, and rehabilitation initiatives.
What We Offer You
As a Group Manager Rehabilitation, you begin your learning journey in our own Samhall School and get the opportunity to participate in one of Sweden's most comprehensive leadership training programs. Here you develop as a leader regardless of previous experience and simultaneously build specialist knowledge about leading and developing people with disabilities.
You get the opportunity to build a network with colleagues around the country, exchange experiences, and be part of contributing to an important societal mission where you make a real difference for people every day.
What You Contribute
For you, leadership is an active choice and something you have experience with previously. You build trusting relationships and create a good collaborative climate through clear, secure, and present leadership.
You communicate clearly and have the ability to adapt your communication style based on different individuals' needs and circumstances. You are motivated by developing people and creating conditions for sustainable progress.
We also believe that you are comfortable handling complex individual cases and accustomed to working structurally with documentation, follow-up, and collaboration with various actors. Since the role involves many points of contact, we see that you have good collaborative skills and a solution-oriented approach.
Given the role's focus on rehabilitation and preferably also pre-rehabilitation, we will place great emphasis on previous experience in the field. We are particularly interested in hearing about complex rehabilitation cases you have worked with and how you have worked preventively to strengthen work capacity and reduce sick leave.
If you have a background as an occupational therapist or similar experience, that is a merit.
To succeed and thrive in the role we believe you have:
Good knowledge of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's regulations
Leadership experience with personnel responsibility
Experience with operational work on personnel development
Documented experience with rehabilitation, workplace adjustments, and preventive work
Experience with collaboration with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Swedish Public Employment Service
Good administrative ability and experience with documentation and follow-up
Driver's license (Category B)
