About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating existing ones, and expanding, and we are now recruiting more staff. The Swedish Prison and Probation Service Service Center (KSC) supports the authority with personnel and financial administration services, support functions, and the authority's switchboard operations. The goal of KSC is to reduce administration for the authority's managers and staff through a combination of centralization and expanded support. The position is located within the Payroll & Personnel Administration Section. The section's work includes payroll, personnel and scheduling administration, travel expense accounting, and reimbursements. Job Description As a group manager, you will lead the operational work within the section in close collaboration with three other group managers. You will drive development by inspiring, creating conditions for reflection and participation. In your work, you focus on building strong relationships throughout the authority and creating an attractive workplace with a good work environment. You have personnel responsibility for a team of payroll handlers and ensure that the team reaches its goals and develops in the right direction. Within the section there are also five payroll specialists who work together to drive the development of the authority's personnel administration processes. An important part of the assignment is to ensure that collective agreements and other rules affecting payroll management and reporting are followed. In addition to ensuring that payroll is processed correctly, the primary task of the group manager is to ensure that employees have the right support and competence to meet the organization's needs. You have a genuine interest in people, thrive in an operational and development-driven leadership role, and contribute to a culture where employees feel seen and engaged. You will also be part of the section's management team where you contribute to the development of the entire section.
