Your Responsibilities
We are now seeking a Group Manager for Project Quality Management at Siemens Energy, with a focus on industrial gas turbines and heat pump projects. As the current manager moves into a new role within the company, we are looking for an inspiring leader who wants to develop both people and work methods in a technically advanced project environment.
In this role, you will hold a central position leading a team responsible for quality assurance and quality control in complex customer projects, while contributing to developing future work methods.
As group manager, you are responsible for the Project Quality Management team and lead quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) work throughout the project lifecycle. You will, among other things:
Lead, coach, and develop team members
Manage resource planning and continuously develop processes and work methods
Work closely with project management, engineering, sales, and other functions to ensure effective project delivery
Participate in the bid phase by preparing budget estimates, supporting proposal work, and reviewing customer quality requirements
Ensure quality requirements are met efficiently and in line with customer expectations
Contribute to improvement initiatives and drive change initiatives within the organization
The position involves global travel.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience leading employees as a manager or team leader
Is an inclusive and engaging leader who motivates and develops your team
Has experience with change management and a strong interest in development and improvement work
Has a technical education or equivalent technical background
Has experience with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC)
Has excellent collaboration skills and enjoys working cross-functionally
Has experience in project organizations—preferably as a project manager or sub-project manager
Communicates fluently in Swedish and has excellent English proficiency
