Within the DUS CNS West unit (Communication, Navigation & Surveillance), we ensure that the technical infrastructure for aviation and other critical services functions 24/7, year-round.
We are now seeking a Group Manager for our team in Kristinehamn who works with the operation and maintenance of TETRA-related field equipment in an environment where quality and safety are in focus. You will work with a new assignment in critical communications that includes the operation and maintenance of the national radio communication system Rakel.
We work with everything from planning and installation to operation, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting.
About the Role
As Group Manager for DUS (Operations, Maintenance and Support) West, based in Kristinehamn, you will have a central role in the organization. You have personnel responsibility for 5 employees based in Kristinehamn. You are responsible for leading the daily work and ensuring that operations deliver with high quality, safety, and availability.
The operations mainly include planned and corrective maintenance of TETRA-related equipment, but also technical infrastructure connected to other critical services. Work is conducted in close collaboration with customers and partners.
Working with security-critical systems requires high levels of competence. Therefore, our technicians undergo training and certification before being authorized to work independently.

The role reports to the Unit Manager and is part of the region's management team.
Your tasks and responsibilities include:
Personnel responsibility for direct reports.
Plan and conduct goal-setting conversations, salary reviews, and individual check-ins.
Coach employees to achieve individual development and set goals.
Assist in leading and distributing daily work.
Assist in planning/monitoring/recording and receiving the team's assignments.
Assist in resource planning for operations and project assignments.
Responsibility for internal training planning in your team.
Collaboration with customer functions within the area of responsibility.
Collaboration with other functions within DUS.
Promote good personnel care by contributing to team motivation and creating understanding for assignments/business/goals.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with experience leading and developing technical operations in maintenance and support.
To succeed in this role, we also see that you:
Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
Good knowledge of both spoken and written Swedish and English.
Hold a valid driver's license (category B).
Meritorious:
Previous management role in an operational environment.
Experience with technical infrastructure, telecommunications, or other security-critical operations.
As a Person:
You are organized with a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and follow up on operations. You are clear in your communication and create engagement and trust, and you are a good listener. Building long-term relationships and collaboration is an important part of your leadership. You are driven by developing operations and people, and you have an interest in continuous improvements.
Other Information
This is a permanent position based in Kristinehamn.
Before employment, a security clearance will be conducted, which includes criminal record checks, security interviews, and drug testing. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
