Teachers are organized into work teams. Ongoing collaboration exists among the different staff categories. Staff meet regularly for joint F-9 conferences. Thanks to our proximity to each other and shared staff facilities, there are excellent opportunities for dialogue and contact across traditional grade boundaries, as well as short decision-making paths and closeness between colleagues and management. An important resource for the school is the student support team consisting of a counselor, principal, school nurse, special education teacher, and academic and career counselor. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are looking for someone who wants to work providing targeted support to students in grades 1-6 in Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and mathematics. The position involves providing students in need of support with the best possible conditions to succeed in their learning and progress further in their knowledge development. Teaching will primarily consist of individual students, small groups, and when necessary, instruction with entire student groups. Your work providing targeted support will involve close collaboration with the school's teachers, student support services, and school leadership. You will have a practical, teaching, and directly supportive role with students both inside and outside the classroom. In addition to planning and providing students with targeted support, you will also be responsible for monitoring student progress in their learning. We are looking for someone who is engaged, flexible, and has a strong interest in meeting students with different backgrounds and needs. You work well with others and understand the importance of working together so that every student can succeed. You will be an important part of the school's student support team and collaborate with students, guardians, teachers, and external partners to create the best possible conditions for students' learning, development, and well-being. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree and teacher certification with the authority to teach Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and mathematics in grades 1-6. We would prefer that you have previous experience working as a teacher, but newly graduated candidates are also welcome to apply.
