Job Responsibilities
We are now seeking a teacher for grades 7-9 with certification in home and consumer studies.
You will be part of a team of teachers where you work together to plan and take responsibility for students' education and development. The focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and reliable environment. You will teach students in middle school grades 7-9, where you educate and support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. At Alléskolan, you are offered opportunities for development, exciting assignments, and work in modern facilities. In your role as a mentor, you have special responsibility for a group of students, which gives you the opportunity to follow their academic progress and personal maturity. You inform and keep students' guardians updated on the student's development through regular developmental meetings.
Qualifications
You are a certified teacher with credentials to teach grades 7-9 in home and consumer studies. If you have previous experience working as a teacher, we consider that a merit. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you have good didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a good learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and with good knowledge and practice, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you have a professional approach and work toward good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

About the Workplace
Alléskolan is a new middle school in Hyllie that started in the 2024/25 school year and from the 2025/26 school year moved into new fantastic facilities. The school currently has five classes in grade 7 and three classes in grade 8, plus Vintrie resource school for 30 students. Over three years, the school will grow gradually to eventually have operations for approximately 450 students in grades 7–9. The school has five floors, large bright spaces, and a large schoolyard as well as a separate sports hall right next to it. Alléskolan strives to be a forward-thinking school with the aim of preparing our students for the future. We work from a shared planning model and have recurring collaborative learning to develop the quality of instruction. We strive for innovation in teaching, interdisciplinary work, and promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
