Ref: 20261563 Job Responsibilities We are now seeking a teacher for grades 7-9 with certification to teach Swedish at Katrinelundsskolan. As a teacher with us, you will plan and deliver instruction and serve as a mentor for a class of approximately 3-10 students. You will work to ensure that students achieve the best possible development, both academically and socially, and you will actively engage and inspire students to develop to their full potential to meet learning objectives. All teachers at the school contribute to developing the school's pedagogical work, both in collaborative efforts and within their subject area(s). Qualifications You are a certified teacher with authorization to teach grades 7-9 Swedish. You have at least five years of prior experience working as a middle school teacher. It is advantageous if you have worked in special education programs and have strong knowledge of low-arousal interaction approaches. It is also beneficial if you hold certification in additional middle school subjects. You have solid understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can apply them effectively in your daily work. You also have strong didactic and pedagogical skills and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a productive learning environment for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you maintain a professional demeanor and work toward building positive relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
