With an increasing number of students, we are expanding our organization where you will become an important part of our middle grades and teacher team. Nysäter School will have almost 90 students from grades F-6 in the coming school year. Organizationally, the school belongs to the Western School District, which is led by a principal and vice principal. In the support structures, there is good access to student health personnel on a weekly basis from both the school nurse, school counselor, and special education teacher. The work team consists of teachers F-3 and teachers 4-6, resource/special education teachers, student coaches, and collaboration with after-school care staff. In certain grade levels, there is B-form instruction, which may be applicable in certain school years. Within our school district, we want every student to develop to their best self. Students should feel safe and well-being at school and feel confidence in the adults around them, while also experiencing stimulating and challenging instruction. You see the benefits of working together toward established goals. Personal Qualities You are a responsible and clear educator with a positive approach and you have good communication skills. You have good interpersonal skills and find it easy to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible in the face of short-term and long-term changes, which are part of pedagogical work. You have the ability to organize and plan activities at both group and individual levels. Work Responsibilities You will plan, implement, and evaluate your instruction in relation to student learning and the school's governing documents. Initially, you will take over a class in B-form with grades 4 and 5. The position involves close collaboration with colleagues and active participation in the school's overall quality work. - Take responsibility for and have insight into student results, which means being responsive to each student's circumstances and needs. - Have high expectations for students and their ability to develop. - Capture and stimulate students' curiosity, interest, and learning. - Take responsibility for developing and growing in the profession. Qualifications You are a qualified and certified teacher for grades 4-6. Meritorious if you are qualified in core subjects and science as well as technology. Meritorious if you are a certified teacher with a few years of experience in the teaching profession and have good skills in implementing adaptations for students in need of support. Terms Permanent employment on a full-time basis with start date by agreement. A criminal record check must be presented before employment begins.
