Ref: 20261907 Job Responsibilities We are now seeking you as a teacher for grades 4-6 for a position at Ribersborgsskolan! You will be part of a team of teachers where you work together to plan and are responsible for students' education and development. Your focus will be on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach students in grades 4-6 of primary school. We are looking for a teacher with certification in Swedish. Certification in mathematics, English, and social/natural science subjects is advantageous. You will educate and support students in their social and academic development. You challenge students to take their own initiatives, develop their interests, and take responsibility for themselves and others. At Ribersborgsskolan, we offer you opportunities for development through ÄDK (subject-specific teaching collegium). In your role, you will serve as a mentor for a class for which you have specific responsibility and the opportunity to follow them more closely in their academic progress and personal development. As a mentor, you will maintain contact with students' guardians and keep them informed about their child's academic development. Qualifications You are a certified teacher with authorization to teach grades 4-6, primarily in Swedish. Certification in mathematics, English, and social/natural science subjects is advantageous. Previous experience working as a teacher is considered an asset. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and can use them effectively in your daily work. Furthermore, you have strong didactic and pedagogical abilities and can therefore lead and organize your work to create a productive study environment and good learning conditions for our students throughout their school day. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and, with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. You naturally maintain a professional approach and work to establish good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.
