Ref: 20261771 Job Responsibilities We are now seeking reinforcement for the after-school program at Rosengårdsskolan. As a primary teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible for planning, instruction, and assessment in the after-school setting and create a stimulating pedagogical after-school activity based on the curriculum and other governing documents. You are responsible for promoting students' development and learning and finding strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal development. As a primary teacher in the after-school program, you offer students a meaningful leisure time and promote diverse contacts, social community, and strengthen group relationships. During school hours, you collaborate with the school by supporting students in their development both individually and in groups. As a primary teacher in the after-school program, you are part of two different work teams. One school team and one after-school team. The school team consists of lead teachers, primary school teachers, primary teachers in the after-school program, and teaching assistants who look forward to your participation in planning and implementing the pedagogical work with students. The teaching lead teacher serves as team leader for the school team. In the afternoons, you are responsible for after-school activities in your section with the help of your colleagues. You also actively participate in the school's ongoing development work. In development work, we all work together to establish and maintain a good learning and working environment for students and employees both at school and in the after-school program. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified primary teacher with a focus on after-school programs. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and the ability to apply them effectively in daily work. Your didactic and pedagogical skills enable you to independently lead and organize instruction to create a safe and stimulating learning environment throughout the school day. You have the ability to work evidence-based where you develop your instruction based on current research and you regularly use digital tools in a pedagogical and effective way. You have a natural ability to build good relationships with both students and colleagues and you have a special ability to meet students with challenging behaviors. The majority of students have Swedish as a second language. Our after-school program is divided into five sections and works with learning throughout the day. We consistently work with SKUA, language and knowledge-developing instruction in all subjects. At Rosengårdsskolan, we work based on clear structures and all staff follow the Rosengårds model. We have a clear results focus and our systematic work has contributed to our ninth-grade students leaving Rosengårdsskolan with good results in recent years.
