As a primary teacher in after-school care with us, you work in close collaboration with the responsible primary school teacher and with teaching and student assistants. You work both in the classroom and in the after-school program. Your main responsibilities in the classroom involve helping students keep up with instruction and assisting them in finding focus in their studies. In the after-school program, you plan and deliver instruction based on the after-school program's curriculum. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified after-school care teacher. It is an advantage if you have previous work experience in this profession. You have good knowledge and understanding of the school's governing documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess strong didactic and pedagogical abilities that allow you to independently lead and organize your work to create an environment conducive to learning and a positive learning environment for our students throughout the day. Your teaching is modern and based on evidence-based research. You develop your work and, with good familiarity and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. It is also an advantage to have experience working with various physical disabilities and intellectual disabilities. Knowledge of different diagnoses and disabilities and how to address them is valued. Experience with alternative communication methods and knowledge of low-arousal approaches to interaction is also an advantage. We welcome your application!
