Ref: 20262028 Job Responsibilities We are now hiring an elementary school teacher for our after-school program at Kulladalsskolan! As an elementary school teacher in our after-school program, you will plan together with your colleagues based on the needs and interests of the student groups. Kulladalsskolan has an organization focused on collaborative planning with evaluation and analysis in process dialogues. To support systematic quality work, we have process facilitators in each work team in both school and after-school settings, as well as lead teachers in after-school and school programs. Based on curriculum and governing documents, we create a safe environment together that aims to strengthen students in both their academic development and personal growth while providing them with meaningful after-school experiences. During the school day, you will collaborate with our other teachers. Collaboration can take various forms and may include mirror lessons where after-school teachers reinforce subjects based on their expertise, conduct subject-specific lessons such as recess activities, art, values-based instruction, etc. As an after-school teacher, you are confident in leading lessons and activities. Together we create activities that meet our students and guardians in the best way possible based on their individual needs! Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed after-school teacher. It is an advantage if you have previous experience in the profession. You have good knowledge and understanding of the school's governing documents and apply them in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess strong didactic and pedagogical abilities that enable you to independently lead and organize your work, create a productive study environment and good learning space for our students throughout the day. Your instruction is modern and based on evidence-based research; you develop your work and work efficiently with relevant digital tools through good knowledge and practice. It is an advantage if you are authorized to teach school subjects, and it is an advantage if you have taught in your authorized subjects. You feel confident in your leadership and have the ability to adapt instruction and activities so that students have the opportunity to succeed based on their capabilities.
