Ref: 20261937 Job Responsibilities We are now seeking an elementary teacher for after-school programs at Augustenborgsskolan, an expansion we are making to strengthen the after-school program and its quality. As an elementary teacher in the after-school program, you are responsible for planning, instruction, and assessment in the after-school setting, and you will create a stimulating pedagogical after-school program based on the curriculum and other governing documents. You are also responsible for promoting students' development and learning, and finding strategies to reach each student and strengthen them in both knowledge development and personal growth. The role includes offering students meaningful after-school activities and promoting well-rounded social connections, community, and strengthening group relationships. The after-school program should complement the school's education by giving students the opportunity to explore, experiment, create, and apply the knowledge they have acquired. We can succeed with this task together through good collaboration in the work team, where we plan, follow up, and evaluate our activities. This enables us to offer an after-school program that not only provides the right conditions for development and learning but also ensures that students actually receive it. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed after-school program teacher. Previous experience in the field is a merit. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply them in your daily work. Additionally, you have strong didactic and pedagogical skills that enable you to independently lead and organize your work to create a productive and good learning environment for our students throughout the day. Your instruction is modern and evidence-based; you continuously develop your practice, and with good knowledge and experience, you work efficiently with relevant digital tools.
