Falkdahl Anläggning is growing and is now seeking an experienced excavator operator who wants to join our team.
We primarily work on small to medium-sized construction projects where we handle the entire execution – from excavation and water/wastewater systems to finished outdoor environments. Our customers are in both the public and private sectors, and we're proud to work for companies including Bostäder i Borås, Öckerö Bostäder, Gryning Vård, NCC, and Veidekke.
For us, the excavator is one of the project's most important tools. We're therefore looking for someone who not only operates the machine, but who also plans the work, sees the big picture, and helps ensure that the project runs efficiently from start to finish.
Your responsibilities
Your work will include:
Excavation and earthwork
Water/wastewater and stormwater work
Fine grading
Loading and material handling
Working from drawings, laser, and GPS machine guidance
Daily inspection and maintenance of machinery and equipment
You plan your work carefully and think several steps ahead. You place materials correctly from the start, work efficiently, and help minimize unnecessary rework on site.
What we're looking for
At least two years of experience as an excavator operator in earthwork and construction
Valid operator's license for heavy machinery
Ability to work independently
Good experience reading technical drawings
Experience with laser technology and preferably GPS machine guidance
Valid driver's license (category B)
Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written)
Strong safety awareness

Safety is an integral part of your work. You take responsibility for your own and your colleagues' work environment, constantly watch the people around you, and ensure the work is carried out safely. You identify risks before they become problems and show consideration for cables, utilities, pipes, and other sensitive infrastructure.
You also understand that organization and cleanliness are part of the job. You keep the work site clean and neat, take good care of the machinery, and ensure it receives the daily maintenance it requires. You take care of the company's vehicles, machines, and equipment as if they were your own.
Since you meet our customers and clients every day, you're friendly, service-oriented, and represent Falkdahl professionally. This applies to your interactions with residents, passersby, and other contractors as well. You help create a good impression of Falkdahl through both your work and how you treat others.
