Excavator Operator for Marine Construction Sought Do you enjoy varying work days near water and are you a team player who always puts service first? We are now seeking an experienced and dedicated excavator operator for our client's well-established marine construction team. This is a recruitment process with excellent opportunities for permanent employment for the right person. About the Position In the role of excavator operator for marine construction, you will work both as part of a team and independently on various projects along coasts and inland lakes. The work environment is characterized by variety and proximity to nature – a perfect role for someone who enjoys seeing concrete results from their work. Work is conducted on a project basis, and you are expected to work "away" during the weeks. Standard hours are Monday through Thursday. Travel days on Sundays may occur depending on the distance to the project. Work Tasks - Dredging - Piling from barge - Shoreline construction work Qualifications Qualifications - Excavator certification is a requirement - Experience with marine construction is a merit - Class 8 boat operator's license is a merit - C-license and YKB are merits - You are service-oriented and work well collaboratively - You are meticulous with an eye for safety Personal Qualities We seek someone who thrives in a social and professionally proud team and who always helps where needed.
