Grans Nature/Agriculture High School Seeks Part-Time Employee for School Farm

Do you want to help develop the next generation of farmers? Grans Nature/Agriculture High School is now seeking an engaged and knowledgeable animal caretaker for our school farm. Here you'll have a unique opportunity to combine practical agricultural work with inspiring and educating students who have chosen a future in the green sector. In this role, you'll become an important role model for our students – especially when it comes to animal care. Job Responsibilities As an animal caretaker with us, you will: Work with daily routines in the school's dairy barn Assist with tasks in the school's other stables as needed Guide students in practical work and be a natural part of their educational day Operate a wheel loader when needed and support other farm tasks as required The work is varied and performed both independently and together with students and colleagues. No two days are the same – and you'll be part of a team with great commitment and pride. Qualifications We're looking for you if you: Have experience with common tasks involving dairy cows and milk production Hold a certification in Yard Management and Facilities (meritable) Have a genuine interest in mentoring and supporting young people, both pedagogically and socially Are organized, responsible, and work well in collaboration We place great emphasis on personal competencies – we're seeking someone who creates a sense of security, takes initiative, and enjoys working in an environment where learning is central. A Class B driver's license is required.
