Job Responsibilities We are now hiring a support assistant for Backadalen's BmSS! Our target group consists of individuals with intellectual and neuropsychiatric variations. The residential facility has nine apartments integrated into a multi-family building. It is located in newly built premises at Selma torget, which is easily accessible by public transportation and close to shops and natural areas. As a support assistant, you will work both independently and together with colleagues to support the residents in their daily lives and contribute to a safe and independent life. Your task is also to create security for the residents and give them the opportunity to participate in their everyday life based on their individual circumstances. You will also be tasked with encouraging, supporting, and motivating them to develop their independence and social participation. The work includes health and care services on delegation, collaboration with psychiatry, specialist psychiatry, and home healthcare, as well as support in daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and personal hygiene. You will also participate in establishing, implementing, and following up routines and action plans to provide appropriate support based on individual needs. You will work on a schedule with working hours arranged for daytime and evening shifts as well as every other weekend. Some work time may occur at other facilities. We plan the schedule in TimeCare. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree from the Healthcare and Care Program, Support Assistant Education, or the Children and Recreation Program with a focus on social or pedagogical work. The education should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education that the employer deems equivalent. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through test provider Educateit. It is a requirement that you have work experience within the target groups of neuropsychiatry, psychiatry, and intellectual disability. It is also a requirement that you have documented experience working within LSS and social documentation. Additionally, it is a requirement that you have experience working with challenging behavior. It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience in LAB (low-arousal approach). We also see that: - You are calm and secure in pressured and difficult situations.
