Within the Social Care Administration, approximately 1,200 committed employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability support, and social psychiatry, as well as individual and family care. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking an engaged and development-oriented unit manager for health and healthcare at home within ordinary housing. As a unit manager, you will lead, plan, coordinate, and develop the operations based on the Social Committee's goals. You have personnel responsibility for approximately 30 nurses and are responsible for operations, personnel, work environment, and finances. In your role, you will create conditions together with your staff for safe and person-centered care of high quality. You will work for an operation that is flexible, qualitative, and cost-effective, where participation, engagement, and development characterize the work environment. Competence development, values, and a person-centered approach are important parts of daily work. You will work closely with manager colleagues in health and healthcare, rehabilitation and preventive work, as well as unit managers in home care. You are part of the leadership for the Health and Healthcare Unit together with the operations manager, manager colleagues, and medically responsible staff. We are an engaged and creative management team where collaboration and a holistic approach are in focus. Together, we work to develop the operation and create good results for the municipality's residents and patients. An important part of your role is the ongoing transition to accessible care and collaboration with regional primary care. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant higher education, such as: Nurse, social worker, or personnel and working life program, and who has experience from municipal health and healthcare or regional primary care. You have previous experience in management or leadership and good knowledge of the field of operations. Experience leading personnel in municipal health and healthcare, primary care, or similar operations is a requirement. If you are a licensed nurse, that is an asset. As a manager, you are secure, clear, and engaged. You take responsibility, work independently, and have the ability to prioritize and drive work forward. You are communicative and build trust by being attentive, present, and clear in your leadership. You have a talent for building good relationships and enjoy collaborating with both staff, colleagues, and external partners.
