We are now seeking engaged individuals for hourly assignments - perfect to combine with studies, other work, or if you want to make an important contribution to society. 💼 About the Assignments 🏡 Relief Caregiver (primarily children and youth) As a relief caregiver, you provide support to children and youth with disabilities at home or in their immediate surroundings. You temporarily take over care duties so that guardians can pursue their own activities for rest and recovery, or spend time with other siblings in the family. You provide care for the child based on their personal needs, create a sense of security, and engage in everyday activities at home or nearby, such as play, walks, or other activities adapted to their needs. Relief care is an hourly position and takes place mainly in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. 🚶♂️ Companion (primarily adults) As a companion, you support an adult with a disability to participate in society and enjoy an active leisure life. You accompany them on activities outside the home and provide support in social settings. You help with simple errands together with the person, such as shopping or exercise. You provide support with transportation to and from activities. The support is practical and social, not personal care. Companionship is an hourly position and takes place mainly in the afternoons, evenings, and on weekends. 🤝 Mentor As a mentor, you are a source of social support and human connection. You help break isolation and create a more active and meaningful everyday life. You meet regularly, typically every week or every other week, and do activities together, for example taking walks, having coffee, or doing something based on shared interests. Mentor is a contract position with compensation and expense reimbursement. 🌱 Who Are You? We are looking for someone who: · has a genuine interest in people and a positive view of humanity · is responsible, attentive, and empathetic · can work independently and adapt to the individual's needs · is at least 18 years old · speaks and writes Swedish fluently It is an advantage if you have experience in healthcare, care, LSS (Swedish disability support act), or educational work - but we place the greatest emphasis on personal suitability. 🔐 Other Information · The assignment always begins with a meeting between you, the person/family, and a coordinator where you get to know each other and go over the assignment details.
