At Sandå, you'll find varied work where you get to participate in everything from small jobs at private customers' homes to larger construction projects. You'll encounter different environments, customers, and projects, which makes the job both engaging and developmental. About the Role As a floor layer at Sandå, you work with a wide variety of projects and flooring types. Your tasks may include: Installation of parquet, vinyl, and laminate flooring Mounting linoleum, carpet tiles, and plastic flooring Tile and stone setting work Floor sanding and renovation Subfloor preparation and self-leveling compound application Service work for private customers Larger construction projects for companies and public organizations Working hours are Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–4:00 PM. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Sandå is primarily seeking someone who is a trained floor layer or has experience in the trade. You have a good understanding of the craft, can work independently, and deliver high-quality work. This position is primarily aimed at those with education or experience in flooring. If you've worked in another skilled trade such as carpentry or painting, you may also be a good fit for the role. For success in this role, we believe you: Have education and/or experience in flooring, or alternatively other relevant craft background Are self-driven and take responsibility Have an eye for quality and attention to detail Enjoy working both independently and together with colleagues Have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written Hold a category B driver's license About the Recruitment Process This recruitment is being handled by StudentConsulting.
