On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a Golang Software Developer to join their rapidly growing Body Worn Camera Solutions team. Your Future Team You will work in one of the client's seven software teams within Body Worn, which together are responsible for the entire system solution, from cameras and control units to mobile apps for iOS and Android as well as cloud-based services. Their development teams are small, dynamic, and take responsibility for their own areas of expertise. Your team focuses on developing software for the embedded devices that form the heart of the Body Worn system. The work is conducted close to users, both through their own development pilots with customers and in close collaboration with their sales organization, which means your solutions are quickly tested and put to practical use. They are driven by curiosity and by delivering high quality to the market, and they succeed together. The team works agile with Linux-based software, where the majority of services are written in Go and integrated with DBus, REST, and GraphQL. You are responsible for the backend portion and work closely with colleagues who develop frontend and camera software. All code is managed in Gerrit, and integration tests run continuously in Jenkins. About the Role As a Golang Software Developer, you will become a central part of the team developing Linux-based software for our body-worn camera solutions. You will primarily work in Go, but also contribute to the larger picture by developing services that integrate with DBus, REST, GraphQL, and gRPC. The work involves solving complex end-to-end use cases with high demands for quality, security, and stability – always in close collaboration with colleagues from firmware, frontend, and testing. Example tasks may include: Develop new backend services to handle communication between camera, control unit, and cloud services. Implement and improve integrations with DBus, REST, and GraphQL. Work with Linux-based systems and tools such as Yocto/OpenEmbedded to ensure stable deliveries. Participate in the entire development chain, from design and implementation to code review, testing, and deployment. We Believe You Have Several years of experience with Go, or very strong skills in another language such as Java, C, or Rust. Experience building services with REST, GraphQL, gRPC, or DBus. Experience developing in a Linux environment. Experience with Yocto/OpenEmbedded is strongly desirable. You are passionate about developing stable services on edge devices and have a desire to understand the big picture – from device to cloud.
