About the Position
As Global Category Manager, you will play a central role in developing and implementing category and sourcing strategies within the Office Interiors business area. The role combines strategic work with close collaboration with both internal functions and international suppliers. You are responsible for translating category and sourcing strategies into concrete initiatives that strengthen the business and create long-term value. The role also involves developing supplier relationships, leading negotiations, and identifying opportunities that contribute to increased competitiveness, quality, and delivery capability.
An important part of the assignment is to build sustainable and value-creating partnerships over time, as well as to initiate and implement improvement work together with suppliers and internal functions. You work closely with local procurement teams, product development, supply chain, and other key functions within the business, and lead sourcing and procurement projects. You also collaborate with international suppliers and partners. About You
We are looking for someone with experience in strategic procurement within the manufacturing industry. You have worked with sourcing, supplier development, and commercial negotiations in an international environment. You have experience with both own production and collaboration with external manufacturing partners. You have experience in developing ways of working, processes, and long-term supplier collaborations. Experience driving projects and working closely with product development is also valuable. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
As a person, you are business-driven, analytical, and have a structured approach to work. You build trusting relationships and thrive in collaboration across functions, cultures, and geographies. At the same time, you have the ability to drive initiatives forward and deliver results in a dynamic and business-focused environment.
It is a merit if you have experience with category work and procurement of, for example, metal, wood, or electronics from the furniture industry or related industries. Experience in international sourcing and procurement of finished products and external manufacturing solutions is also seen as an asset.

You will report to the Head of Strategic Sourcing at Lammhults Design Group and will be part of the sourcing function within the Office Interiors business area.
You will be based at the subsidiary Abstracta in Lammhult or at the subsidiary Ragnars in Forserum, with the possibility of some remote work.
