JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The role involves participating in the preparation of the municipality's pavement plan, from inventory and planning to implementation as well as follow-up of results and finances. You will work with various projects within operations, for example implementation of BK4, reinforcement measures, and various types of investigations. The position also includes handling of excavation applications and responsibility for convening and leading coordination meetings with relevant utility owners. Further duties include follow-up and ordering of utility maintenance as well as participation in investment and development projects. The assignment also includes supporting the work supervisors within the street unit in daily operations. On-call duty is included in the position, as well as other common work tasks within the unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with great commitment and knowledge of road construction. You have strong collaboration skills and are accustomed to structuring, planning, and following up on work. Since you will have contact with the public, consultants, contractors, authorities, and politicians, we see that you communicate well in both speech and writing. Your personal qualities are very important to us and we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Requirements
• You have post-secondary technical education or other education combined with work experience that is deemed equivalent by the employer
• Experience with pavement work, procurement/execution of construction contracts and contract law
• Good IT skills and a Category B driver's license
