JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your tasks will vary within street/park maintenance in public environments. This means that together with your colleagues, you will oversee and carry out street maintenance work such as cleaning, pothole repair, minor repairs in street environments, weed removal from paved surfaces, sight line clearing, winter road maintenance, sand collection, and some equipment maintenance. You will also, when needed, assist with park maintenance. This could include weed removal, planting, watering, grass cutting, cleaning, and emptying trash cans. The work takes place outdoors year-round, so you should enjoy being outside in various weather conditions and take pride in maintaining our green environments. The work can at times be physically demanding, which requires good physical fitness. The work is also varied and engaging. Since the work takes place in a public environment, you will also regularly meet, interact with, and answer questions from our residents. You work closely with your colleagues and actively contribute to a positive collaborative climate. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, takes responsibility for their role, and is genuinely interested in the people you work with. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who has: • completed upper secondary education. • several years of experience working in public park and street environments. • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. • a Class B driver's license. We consider it a merit if you have: • experience operating machinery, such as tool carriers, loaders, or tractors. • a commercial driver's license. • a loader operator certificate. • previous experience with winter road maintenance.
