UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

Key job responsibilities:
• Review construction project documentation, including utility infrastructure compliance with detailed plans;
• Within your area of competence, review and prepare responses to written and verbal submissions from individuals and legal entities;
• Conduct inspections as needed regarding utility infrastructure compliance with operation requirements, and report any violations to your direct supervisor;
• Prepare reports on existing and prospective utility infrastructure in Ropažu Municipality, engineering infrastructure needs and interconnections;
• Review territorial development planning documents (including detailed plan and local plan documents), assess and provide consultation within your area of competence.
Requirements for applicants:
• Higher academic education or second-level professional higher education in engineering specialization;
• Desirable experience in a similar position in a municipal administration for at least one year;
• Experience in document preparation;
• Knowledge and skills to apply the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia regarding building design, planning, and Cabinet Regulations related to design and planning;
• Knowledge of land development, territorial planning and related architectural fields;
• Proficiency in AUTO CAD;
• Excellent knowledge and skills in information technology;
• Ability to process large volumes of information, capacity to analyze information for preparing document projects;
• State language proficiency at an advanced level.
