Ropažu Municipality (Reg. No. 90000067986) Development and Construction Department invites applications for UTILITY INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER (occupation code 2149 42) Key Job Responsibilities: • Review construction project documents, including utility infrastructure compliance with detailed plans; • Review and prepare responses to written and oral submissions from individuals and legal entities within your area of competence; • Conduct inspections as needed regarding utility infrastructure compliance with operational requirements and report any violations identified to your direct supervisor; • Prepare reports on existing and future utility infrastructure in Ropažu Municipality, engineering infrastructure needs and connections; • Review territorial development planning documents (including detailed and local planning documents), evaluate and provide consultations within your area of competence Requirements for Candidates: • Higher academic education or second-level professional higher education in engineering; • Preferred experience in a similar position at a municipality for at least one year; • Experience in document preparation; • Knowledge and skills in applying Republic of Latvia regulatory acts on building design, planning, and Cabinet of Ministers regulations and laws related to design and planning; • Knowledge of land development, territorial planning, and architecture-related fields; • Proficiency in AutoCAD; • Excellent knowledge and skills in information technology; • Ability to process large volumes of information, ability to analyze information for document project preparation; • State language proficiency at an advanced level.
