Welcome to us
The Health and Care function (HS) in Jönköping Municipality consists of 13 interdisciplinary HS Teams, plus a Home Team. We have specialist areas in psychiatry, palliative care, home rehabilitation, dementia, and functional support. Together we are approximately 460 dedicated employees.
HS-Team 12 is part of the Health and Care function serving the areas of Central West, South Jönköping, Torpa, Munksjöstaden, and Fridhem. The area has three elderly care homes: Brukasgatan Elderly Care Home, Kristinedal Elderly Care Home, and Tornet Elderly Care Home, as well as Brunnsgatan Service Housing. The work group is based at the team office on Skeppsbron and consists of physical therapists/physiotherapists, occupational therapists, registered nurses, specialist nurses, nursing assistants, and a unit administrator. Your new job
As a Physical Therapist/Physiotherapist with us, you work with home rehabilitation for a varied target group, meeting patients in regular housing, special housing, and in short-term units. Your duties include conducting assessments and offering, implementing, and evaluating the health and care interventions needed based on the individual's rehabilitation needs. You work with a health-promoting focus on strengthening the individual's own resources and rehabilitation capacity. When needed, you also guide and train family members and home care/nursing staff.
In your role, you collaborate closely with both primary and hospital care to adapt care needs according to the individual. You also work interdisciplinarily with close cooperation with other professionals such as occupational therapists, registered nurses, nursing assistants, rehabilitation assistants, and social welfare administrators.
Your qualifications
You are a licensed physical therapist/physiotherapist
We prefer that you have professional experience as a physical therapist/physiotherapist, rehabilitation assistant, or another role in health and care
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and good computer skills are required
The work requires good physical mobility as it takes place in home environments where unforeseen situations arise that must be solved in a manner appropriate to the situation
Class B driver's license and experience driving a car are required
As a person, you are self-driven, initiative-taking, and organized. It is important that you feel confident and take responsibility for driving your processes forward efficiently. At the same time, you are adaptable to changing circumstances and thrive in an environment where days vary. You work well with other people and are clear in your communication style. Most importantly, you have a genuine interest in working with people. We place importance on personal suitability for the position!

Good to know
The recruitment concerns two permanent full-time positions with employment start according to agreement. Working hours are primarily scheduled for daytime, Monday through Friday. Some daytime work on red days may occur.
