Job Responsibilities
As a physical therapist in hand surgery, you work with assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with hand injuries and hand surgical conditions. You collaborate closely with hand surgeons, occupational therapists, and other professionals in a multidisciplinary team. The work includes individual rehabilitation following hand surgical procedures, training programs and follow-up, patient education and counseling, as well as cooperation with internal and external healthcare providers.
The position also includes supervising students, which means you contribute to development and learning within the organization.
Qualifications
We are looking for you if you are a licensed physical therapist/physiotherapist and have an interest in hand surgery and specialized rehabilitation. Experience in hand surgery is a merit but not a requirement. You are independent, responsible, and have good collaboration skills as well as a professional and empathetic approach.
Important to us is that you are good at creating positive interactions both with patients and colleagues in the team. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. Since the operational area is new, routines and forms of cooperation are continuing to evolve, and you should be comfortable being part of developmental and change work.

About the Organization
The Health Professions operational area is a newly established regional clinic. In the operational area, speech-language pathologists, dietitians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers, psychologists, nursing assistants, and administrators work. The position is placed within the Unit for Musculoskeletal System, which is one of several units within the new operational area.
