Description In December 2025, the Mölndal habilitation unit moved into newly renovated premises. The clinic focuses on children and young people with permanent movement impairments. The catchment area includes central Gothenburg, Askim, Frölunda, Högsbo, Mölndal, Partille, and Härryda. We are now looking for you to join us, develop with us, and grow professionally. We offer you a workplace with excellent collaboration and high expertise. You will work in a multidisciplinary team and have close collaboration with team members. Currently, we have 3 teams consisting of occupational therapists, physical therapists/physiotherapists, speech-language pathologists, special educators, social workers, psychologists, nurses, doctors, and a dietitian. As one of our physical therapists is going on parental leave, we are seeking a substitute at 100% for one year, with the possibility of extension. Desired start date from October 2026 or by agreement. Responsibilities Work is performed based on the child's needs. Responsibilities include assessing and evaluating the patient's motor function and capacity. Based on this, you plan interventions together with team colleagues, the patient and their network, and other healthcare providers. You carry out goal-oriented physical therapy interventions including assistive device prescription where needed. In addition to direct patient care, we also work using a consultative approach. The work is varied and takes place in the clinic's premises, when needed in the patient's immediate environment, and when possible we offer digital care visits. You will be offered an introduction period, a mentor, and opportunities for peer supervision from experienced colleagues as well as regular professional meetings. In the team you will have colleagues of the same profession. Qualifications You are a licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist. Previous experience working as a physical therapist is a requirement. Experience working with children and young people with functional impairments and experience in habilitation work is desirable. You need to be flexible, responsible, and enjoy problem-solving. You are confident in your professional role and enjoy both independent work and collaborating with colleagues from different professions. Good communication with patients and colleagues is essential for us, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability. As the position involves work-related travel, a Class B driver's license is desirable.
