Do you want to work in a stimulating and evidence-based care environment where teamwork, knowledge, and development are in focus? Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders is now seeking a physiotherapist who wants to contribute to high-quality and person-centered care for patients with eating disorders. Stockholm Center for Eating Disorders (SCÄ) is one of the world's largest specialist clinics for patients with eating disorders and receives patients of all ages. We have a well-developed operation with digital care, outpatient care, intensive outpatient care, day care, inpatient care, and national highly specialized care for both adults, children, and adolescents. Today we are close to 300 employees. Our outpatient and day care are located on Södermalm and our inpatient care at Danderyd Hospital. Read more about our operations here. The position is placed within two different sections; partly within the Adult Outpatient Section and partly within the inpatient care section at Danderyd Hospital. Time in inpatient care is estimated at approximately 40%. Within the outpatient section, you belong to Adult Outpatient Care 2. It is a clinic that treats patients 18 years and older with complex eating disorder issues that they have suffered from for a longer time. Our clinic has an individualized treatment approach and we work as a multidisciplinary team around each patient. Inpatient care consists of three care units for adults, young adults, and children. Specialized care is provided for patients requiring intensive treatment and medical follow-up. You will become part of a multiprofessional team where you contribute physiotherapeutic assessments and treatments based on the patient's individual needs and in close collaboration with other professionals. Work tasks: Within outpatient care, work is mostly focused on individual and group-based physiotherapeutic treatment - primarily aimed at body awareness/body image, tension and anxiety regulation, balanced physical activity, and conventional physiotherapeutic assessments. Participation in the development and implementation of evidence-based methods. Collaboration with doctors, psychologists, nurses, dietitians, and social workers in holistic treatment. You also participate in treatment conferences, method development, and supervision. Within inpatient care as a physiotherapist for eating disorders, you are an important specialist resource in the multiprofessional team. You work primarily with our most severely ill patients, where physiotherapeutic expertise is needed to ensure safe mobilization, transfers, and physical activity. Your work tasks include, among other things, physiotherapeutic assessments, support with bed positioning and wheelchair needs, assistive device prescription, thromboprophylactic exercises, and assessment and adaptation of physical activity based on the patient's medical and nutritional status. You also provide advice to the team regarding transfers, activity limitations, fall risk, pain, and other somatic complaints. Part of the assignment is also to contribute psychoeducational support regarding physical activity, compulsive exercise, and developing a more balanced approach to physical activity before and after discharge. We are looking for you who: Are a licensed physiotherapist with at least three years of experience from clinical practice. It is meritorious if you have experience working in psychiatry and/or eating disorder care. Work in a structured, reflective manner and with a scientific approach. Thrive in an interprofessional setting and have good collaboration skills – you enjoy working independently and have flexibility to work across multiple units at the clinic. If you have basic training in CBT (step 1), we consider this meritorious. Employment form: Permanent employment Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday Personal qualities: You have good collaboration skills, take personal responsibility, and enjoy working in a team within outpatient and inpatient care. You are comfortable meeting people in difficult life situations with varying well-being. Personal maturity. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
