Hospital Rehabilitation is tasked with contributing to better acute care and rehabilitation for patients in Kronoberg County. We are approximately 100 employees working together to meet patients' needs for assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and disease prevention initiatives. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a physical therapist, you perform assessment and treatment of patients. Rehabilitation interventions may include mobilization, respiratory assessment and training, as well as planning for further rehabilitation and discharge. The task for this position is performed primarily in inpatient care but also to some extent in outpatient care. Within inpatient care, we staff all departments at the hospital. You are an integral part of the patient care team. You work closely with our other professionals at the clinic such as occupational therapist, rehabilitation assistant, social worker, speech-language pathologist, and dietitian. We have daily check-ins in the physical therapy group where we together prioritize and distribute work.
