Are you a physical therapist interested in home healthcare? Then you might be the person we're looking for! The Licensed Personnel Unit in the Frösön/Lit area is now recruiting a physical therapist on a temporary contract. As a physical therapist on the unit, you work in a close team together with other physical therapists, occupational therapists, district nurses, and nursing assistants. The existing team is very experienced with broad and in-depth knowledge. The unit supports both municipal and private residential facilities, as well as citizens receiving home healthcare from municipal and privately owned home care groups. You work from the unit office on Frösön where both unit managers and colleagues are located, as well as home care groups with care staff, which contributes to a centered and smooth workday. Your placement is within home healthcare and with the private providers Allegio, Lanterna, and Forenede Care, though collaboration naturally occurs between different colleagues and groups. The position is a temporary contract starting 2026-10-26 and running until 2027-12-31. Full-time employment at 100% with working hours 08.00-17.00, Monday-Friday. We have annual working hours, which provides flexibility in working hours, provided the work allows it. Your New Role Based on your professional role, you work with planning, leading, and carrying out individually tailored interventions and you are also the one who assesses the need and creates conditions for the individual to have as meaningful a life as possible. Your daily work is based at the unit on Frösön where you make home visits during the day to citizens who have chosen a private home care provider in your area. An important part of the assignment is to work preventively by educating, coaching, and giving clear instructions to base staff or relatives, so that the interventions can be carried out close to the individual in daily life. You also have close cooperation with occupational therapists, district nurses, and other agencies. You are confident in your professional role, have a rehabilitative approach, and treat each individual with respect and attentiveness.
