Responsibilities We are a good team consisting of occupational therapists, physical therapists, and rehabilitation assistants. We offer a mentor, based on your experience and wishes, to facilitate and support your introduction to the work. As a physical therapist, your days will be varied and you will play an important role for the municipality's residents. You work in a team with occupational therapists, rehabilitation assistants, nurses, and care personnel. Your responsibilities include both independently and together with colleagues conducting assessments, providing treatment, and follow-up care. You will work with residents with various diagnoses and functional limitations across different municipal services, such as home healthcare, assisted living facilities, short-term care, and housing for people with functional variations. Your work also includes supervising and educating care personnel. You will also collaborate closely with other stakeholders around the patient, such as family members, case managers, and various services within the region. We offer skills development based on the needs of our employees to provide rehabilitation that improves the quality of life for our residents. Qualifications We are looking for a licensed physical therapist with a desire to work in rehabilitation to increase the quality of life for our residents. Previous experience working in municipal services and/or primary healthcare is an asset. You are responsible, positive, independent, and flexible. It is important to us that you have a good approach and the ability to create and maintain good relationships with patients, family members, and the rest of the team. B-class driver's license is a requirement. Other Information This recruitment process includes interviews and reference checks.
