Welcome to a workplace surrounded by sea, fields, and meadows. Here you will find an open climate, short decision-making paths, closeness to colleagues, and good collaboration between units. Through a belief in the patient's abilities and activity-preserving and activity-enhancing interventions, you will make a difference in people's lives.
WORKING AS A PHYSIOTHERAPIST WITH US
You will become part of a work team of five physiotherapists where your colleagues have extensive and broad experience. Your work team is part of the Health and Healthcare Unit, which also consists of 24 nurses, six occupational therapists, five physiotherapists, and two nursing assistants. We help each other both within the work team and between different professional groups in other units. Here there is close leadership that encourages participation. We see your thoughts and ideas as an important part of developing our operations and collaboration between units.
You will meet a wide variety of patients and diagnoses, which means you will continue to develop throughout your career. We conduct home visits; the opportunity to meet the patient in their home environment provides a solid foundation for a deeper and broader understanding of the patient. You often develop long-term care relationships with your patients, and there is continuity among the professionals surrounding the patient.
A small municipality means geographic proximity to patients and actors you often come into contact with. Assignments come from other professional groups within the unit, from hospitals before discharge, from social welfare administrators, home care services, relatives, or the patient themselves. Visits take place at one of the municipality's three special residences, LSS facilities, short-term housing, and in patients' own homes. Home care services can, at the physiotherapist's request, be part of the patient's treatment.
We educate care and nursing personnel, including through a two-day course in transfer techniques. A great benefit of this is the collaboration between different units where through education we both raise knowledge levels and create a common language and working method. We participate in implementing Safe Discharge and will work to ensure that patients who need it can also be offered intensive home rehabilitation (IHR).

You enjoy variety, have curiosity, and a willingness to learn. You are initiative-taking and drive matters forward.
