Now you have the opportunity to become part of our primary care rehabilitation team in the south! We are now looking for a committed physical therapist for a temporary position who enjoys independent work and appreciates variety in their daily tasks.
The position is divided between two health centers. Three days a week you work at Väststrand Health Center and two days at Kronoparken Health Center, where we have a larger physical therapy clinic. This gives you the opportunity to meet a broad patient group and work in different teams and environments.
With us, you work closely with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other professionals to provide patients with safe, equitable, and quality care. You will also become part of Primary Care Rehabilitation South, which in addition to Väststrand and Kronoparken includes physical therapy and occupational therapy clinics at Gripen in Karlstad, Forshaga, Kil, Molkom, and Skoghall. Within the unit, we collaborate across clinic boundaries, share our expertise, and support each other where needed.

Your Responsibilities
As a physical therapist with us, you work to ensure that our patients achieve or maintain the best possible functional ability, greater independence, and good health. You meet care seekers with varied needs for examination, advice, and treatment.
We perform standard primary care rehabilitation where teamwork and collaboration with other actors is an important part. In addition to patient work, you are also an important part of our continuous improvement efforts.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for you who are a licensed physical therapist/physiotherapist.
Experience in primary care is an advantage, and you are welcome to have further training in areas such as OMT, MDT, dizziness, mental health, or chronic pain. Experience with remote consultations is also a plus.
As a person, you are flexible, engaged, and you enjoy working independently as well as with others. You also need to have a good holistic perspective and consider the entire operation in your actions and decisions.
